Writing, art, and the spaces in between

I began making digital collage during the early months of the COVID lockdown. A former technophobe, well, maybe still a bit of a technophobe, I photographed a vintage wooden eggcup shaped like a little girl on an old iPhone 7 and haven't really stopped since.
I make images using photographs, clipart, and whatever odds and ends I can find, usually with free or outdated apps on an aging Mac I hope keeps hanging on.
Most of my collages aren't carefully archived. Once they're finished, they feel a bit like mandalas, lovingly made and then released. The process itself is what matters most to me, a way of moving through anxiety and making sense of the world.
